Earlier this week, Brebeuf held a Martin Luther King Jr. convocation in honor of a very powerful voice and the impact it had on America. The program included an educational and entertaining music and dance lesson. It was very interesting to learn new dances and hear the instruments the performers used. This was followed by Dr. Terri Jett’s speech about the life of Martin Luther King Jr. and the powerful message of peace he shared. Most importantly, we were able to take the time out of our schedules to respectively listen to amazing people discuss a person who made a positive impact on America as a whole.
