At Brebeuf’s annual Mass of The Holy Spirit on Friday August 17th, Father William Verbryke, SJ,  was named the 12th president in the history of Brebeuf Jesuit. According to Brebeuf’s website, Father Bill entered the Society of Jesus in 1973 and became ordained in 1983. This is Father Bill’s second stint as president of a Jesuit school, as he was president at St Xavier High School in Cincinnati. Father Bill joined Brebeuf in October 2016. As president Father Bill hopes to improve multiple aspects of the building and improve upon the core values of what makes Brebeuf special.

At Friday’s Mass of the Holy Spirit, Father Bill led the first Mass of the school year and was officially sworn in front of the entire school as the 12th president of Brebeuf Jesuit during the Mass. With Father Bill as president, we look forward to a great year at Brebeuf!
