On Thursday, the Indiana Pacers blew out the Los Angeles Clippers 116-92, extending the team’s win streak to 4 games. This win streak and the performances the Pacers have put forth the last two weeks are not really a surprise for fans here in Indy, considering that the team has sat in 3rd place in the eastern conference above the acclaimed Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers for most of the season. However, this win streak and the team’s recent successes may come as a surprise to the national media who wrote the Pacers off after a devastating injury to Pacers all star Victor Oladipo. Despite the lack of attention the Pacers get from the rest of the nation, the players keep proving doubters wrong with incredible performances, including a 48 point win over Lebron James and the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday. Yes, you heard that right: a FORTY-EIGHT point win. The future is bright.
