Pacers Extend Win Streak with Rout Over Hornets

On Monday night, the Pacers extended their league-leading five game win streak in their 99-90 win against the Charlotte Hornets at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. However, the story of the game may have been the debut of new acquisition Wesley Matthews, who is averaging 12.7 points per game and is set to be the short-term replacement for Victor Oladipo in Oladipo’s absence. It was an overall team effort as five players finished with double figures in scoring along with holding Charlotte to just 90 points. The Pacers will hope to continue their win streak on Wednesday night at home versus the Eastern Conference leading Milwaukee Bucks.
