Braves Rebound Against Rival Trojans in Sold-Out Game

Connor Fisher, Staff Writer

The Brebeuf Jesuit Men’s Basketball team overcame a two point first quarter deficit to defeat rival, Bishop Chatard last Friday evening. A balanced scoring attack from the Braves was topped off by 4 three pointers from senior, Mason Grout. A stellar defensive performance allowed the Braves to hold the Trojans to 39 points. The cherry on top of beating Brebeuf’s arch rival occurred in the 4th quarter when Sam Snyder finished an alley oop from freshmen, Simon Banks. The atmosphere of a sold out gym at Brebeuf Jesuit and the passion on the floor was a major factor in Brebeuf’s victory. The Braves play another rival this upcoming weekend at Park Tudor.
