Sushi Bar Review

Sushi Bar Boat

The Restaurant, Sushi Bar in Broad Ripple, is truly a place you have to experience. We made the journey to Sushi Bar with Molly Dolan and Nia Bacon on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, and sat in the beauty of Broad Ripple while eating incredible sushi.

Starting with the service at Sushi Bar: top-notch. The menu was very easy to read and they even had a separate menu that showed what kind of sushi rolls they had. Right when we got to the restaurant we were given a table and menus. We did not have to wait long at all before we were served our drinks and asked about appetizers. The appetizers we ordered were soup and salad, which came out very fast and were made with very good quality. The soup was a traditional Miso. Molly Dolan commented on the Miso Soup as “warm and delectable”. The salad was Sushi Bar’s traditional House Salad with ginger dressing and was truly incredible.

While our sushi rolls and fried rice took a little longer to prepare, they were still very good and we were impressed with the visual presentation when they arrived. Nia Bacon ‘25 said, “The wait was kind of lengthy but it was worth it for the quality of the rolls.” They even had gluten-free soy sauce and sushi roll options! We sat outside and were very comfortable with the space and setting. Overall we were very happy with our experience at Sushi Bar and would recommend it to others.
